Lyell's Sand Art consists of two panels of glass glued together. The space between the panels is filled with sand and liquid. Gravity makes the sand grains push through the air bubbles and create unique art forms.
The different colored sands are different sizes, meaning the larger grains of sand fall first, and the smaller sand gets deposited on top, creating layers of sedimentation. Settles in just two minutes!
